Palm Sunday

Instead of spending our Sunday at church, Wayne and I headed to the ER due to a severe pain spike. Thankfully, after a few hours, he was back home and feeling much better.

This past week Wayne, Nathanial, and I made a quick trip to Maryland (Wednesday - Thursday). Nathanial wanted to check out a seminary that he is considering to attend while working on his Master's degree. It was wonderful to be in real spring weather...70 degrees, lots of sun, and flowers everywhere. (I tried to hook it onto the back of the van to bring home to NY, but we lost it somewhere in the mountains of PA.) Nathanial took pictures, but he hasn't emailed them to me yet so I can't include them in this post.

We had a great visit at the campus which included a tour, sitting in on a class, chapel, Q & A session, and lunch. Somehow the message to the head cook that we were coming didn't connect so an additional 20-30 people entering the cafeteria at the end of the serving hours put the cook in a bit of a panic, but I told Nathanial that he was getting a true example of their food. (Which was very good, by the way!) It was also great spending time with Nathanial.
